I got this comforter hoping for something heavy that would keep me warm in the cold New York winters. As it happens, this comforter is medium weight, and you can be sure I have to throw it off in the middle of the night because I'm sweating. My friend told me for warmth I would do better with a feather down comforter. But this purchase was much better and I don't have feathers flying all over the place. Geeat
The fabric is comfortable and feels of a quality thread count. The blanket is pretty light and much flatter than the picture suggests. It does arrive vacuum sealed which attributes to the initial Flatness however, after a couple of weeks of use I can’t say that it looks much more plush than when I took it out of the packaging. I say it’s about medium warmth. If you’re looking for a really warm comforter for the winter then I’d pass on this. If you want a comfortable light comforter with medium warmth, then you will not be disappointed.
Couldn't be more pleased with a purchase! Looks great on the bed, and is very warm. This was described as "medium warmth". I would not want to be under anything any warmer!
After dry-cleaning our down comforter for the thousandth time (thanks to living with 2 dogs and an elderly cat) and losing even more feathers, we decided to replace it with a down alternative. We use this inside of a duvet cover so I can't speak to the softness, but it is very warm! It seems to be well made, and the filling is evenly distributed across the comforter. So far, so good!
