Brought this bed ( full size) for my son(12 yrs old) love the color of the wood. He was able to bed the bed together himself and ask for assistance when he needed it. The direction were easy to follow. What I like most about about this bed is that you don’t need a box spring.
When we unpacked the bed, we discovered it was a Queen and not a King. After moving all day, this came as a huge disappointment. We had to take it back apart and package it as good as we could for return. I ordered a 2nd bed and then chatted with a representative who was very nice and apologetic. He credited me back the cost of the first bed and not realizing it, he too ordered a 2nd bed. Both beds arrived this time in the correct size. However, the legs on the bed we opened looked as though they had been beaten with a hammer; there were marks all over them. So, we exchanged those legs for the legs to the 2nd bed. So now, I have a 2nd bed, with damaged legs. I plan to keep it and use it for myself (1st bed was for my son). A bed skirt will cover the damaged legs. I hope all the other parts are included. Time will tell..........
I had bought this bed for my 11 year old son who just got his own room. I wanted a full sized bed so I wouldn't have to buy a new bed in a couple of years. My son is 5'1 and 114lbs so I wanted not only something sturdy but specifically a platform frame to deter items being pushed under the bed. This frame is larger than I expected for a full bed, somewhere in between full and queen. The picture makes the bed appear to sit higher off of the floor than it truly does, which worked out for me. The one thing I was concerned with was how sturdy the legs were being splayed. Yet they are actually really strong! There are angled slots on the head and foot board, which you slide the specific leg into and screw it into place. I even stood on his bed with him and there were no creaking or budging, so I would say this was a good deal.
