Whether you are varnishing furniture or covering a painting with a isolation coat before varnishing, these are a great set of brushes. They are very soft and they do not streak. Good coverage and well made.
This is by far the easiest way to tackle paint jobs you would normally use the manual roller. To start it is extremely easy to set up. The back guard helps against splatter particularly when doing ceiling work. The controls are either used for manual or power which is battery operated to extract paint from your paint can. A couple things you need to be aware of when setting up. Ensure to have petroleum jelly to grease up the areas suggested in the instruction pamphlet for easy movement and secondly start with a bucket of water to release the air through the tube. I used a small bucket that was equivalent to a gallon bucket of paint. Place the black top with extraction tube to ensure I could get liquid to fill the tube. I tried it twice and it worked. Also you may want to use a cup of water with you paint to thin it out. Other than that a great tool to have. Easy to clean. No worries about washing and cleaning paint pans.
Its a great time saver, finished two coats of painting in 1500 sft. basement in two days.. with around 3 hours of actual painting time. Instructions are detailed and may seem scary at first but pretty intuitive once you've done it. There are some YouTube videos online to get familiar with painting technique. I'd suggest wearing a painting vapor proof mask as the regular masks don't really help and are not enough, specially when doing in a room or area that't not very open. Don't forget to prepare the area before starting to paint, like covering all items in the work area as paint vapors would be all over and would sit on each object.
