This Hand-tufted Artworks Charcoal Waves Rug (2'6 x 8') was just what I was looking for. I have gray marble in my bathroom and was looking for an extra long runner that looked like marble and was gray. This rug is beautiful and lays flat. It is hand-serged and hand-finished. This gorgeous rug also has cotton canvas backing for extra stability. It is extra long and is a full 8' in length by 2'6" wide. It is true to size and looks beautiful in my bathroom. I bought this rug when it was on sale and got it for a great and free shipping. I highly recommend this rug and I am happy with my purchase. This rug works to bring a true piece of art to my bathroom flooring, but can be used in any room of your home. Designed with hand-tufting, this unique rug features a spotlight of fantastic color combinations. Excellent Purchase!
These Nourison rugs are a delight! We bought three: a Nourison 2000 Hand-tufted Tabriz Black Rug (10 x 10) Octagon, a Nourison 2000 Hand-tufted Tabriz Black Rug (2'6 x 12), and a Nourison 2000 Hand-tufted Tabriz Black Rug (2'3 x 8). The octagon is in the middle of our octagon shaped living room and the other two are hall runners leading into the living room. The arrangement is beautiful. The rugs are high quality, dense, thick, with vibrant colors.
I purchased two of these runners for my high traffic hallway. We just bought new carpet for our home. I love the color and texture of this rug. The shadow box design is very nice. The detail and color of the runner was what I was looking for. My carpet is grey in my home, but I wanted a different grey to offset what I have. Also I didn't want just a plain runner without any detail. I've only had them a couple of days, and I still need to get a pad underneath the runners so they don't move when you walk on them. I would definitely recommend this runner to some who wants a good quality runner.
The runner is alright. The pattern isn't as crisp as it looks in the picture. As some of the other reviewers noted, the white is more of an ivory/light cream. Also, since the weaving technique is hand-hooked, it is not as soft and comfy to walk on as a hand-tufted rug might have been. The runner does feel a bit on the thin side. It's meant for our closet and does the job for now. Most other runners I found had very geometrical patterns (chevron, etc.) and this one is a bit more unique/curvy, which I like, so I decided to keep it.
