I'd recommend this watch to a friend with a large caveat. The watch is nice; and for the price is a good value. The watch is very good looking and I'm pleased to own it. However, while this watch is advertised as a Swiss watch, it is important to know that the quality of this watch is not what one normally thinks of when considering a Swiss watch. There are minor finish details of low quality here and there that remind me this watch costs far less than a *** or an Omega. I can overlook these small blemishes when I consider the price of this watch. But the most frustrating thing to accept was the fact that the watch arrived in two pieces. I needed to do a small repair on the clasp to re-attach it to the watch band with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Quality control should have caught this. I don't believe this happened in transit; there was a metal piece that needed to be more fully squeezed to hold things together. Also, parts of the watch band show slight tool marks (no, not my tools marks, these are in a different place). It's a fine watch for the price, but it confirms the fact that there is a large variation in the quality of Swiss watches. Had I known a week ago what I know now, I probably would still have opted to purchase this watch but my expectations would have been lower.
I was pleasantly surprised how much I like this watch (and I own several expensive watches, such as Rolex, Omega, etc). The colors remind me of the Rolex Yachtmaster. Pros: attractive, keeps good time, costs half on Overstock than a major online marketplace site. Cons: I prefer automatic movements over Quartz (which this is), a little glossy (but okay), replace cheap bracelet with navy silicone band.
